A Little About Us

Malley Weber

I fell in love with clay the moment I touched it. That was in 1985 at S.U.N.Y. Oswego. I took every ceramics course I could with Richard Zakin. He taught me hand-building and opened a door for me to help me find my voice. From there I worked slowly and steadily developing my skills. The clay continues to guide me and has been providing me with great company for my journey.

I am currently the President of the Central Maine Clay Artists. We are a dynamic group of potters and clay artists that have joined forces to promote clay art in our communities. We put on workshops for kids and adults and raise money for local art programs.

I work full-time at Hallowell Clay Works teaching and creating my own line of work called Moonshine Pottery. The gallery space is growing and I love showing the fine work of our local artisans. I continue to educate and develop my artistic self and still find tiime to play with my kids! Please stop in to see my beautiful studio and gallery. Hope to see you soon!
